As a lifelong teacher, Tony is well aware that children (particularly disadvantaged children and even more particularly, disadvantaged minority children) need positive role models. A role model must be someone with whom children can identify. They must be people like them who have achieved success by living and working toward their dreams. Without these role models, children struggle to realize what is possible and struggle to visualize what they are working toward. Tony Baird Electronics is committed to the development of opportunities for children to experience hands-on learning, mentoring and internships.
Tony Baird Electronics in coordination with Syracuse University's Martin J. Whitman School of Management is a participant in the D'Aniello Entrepreneurial Internship Program. The program offers student interns the opportunity to work directly with an entrepreneur, president, or senior executive in a high-growth, innovative company located in the greater-Syracuse metropolitan area.
